HYPNOSIS VS HYPNOTHERAPY

Hypnosis is an over-stimulation of the mind brought on by tapping into all the senses of the mind and body. However, it allows the human to change his/her actions for a period of time, not forever.

Hypnotherapy combines hypnotic suggestion and hypnosis to help a person change their habits forever by taking advantage of the mind and body relationship. A patient enters into a daze by meditation, which ultimately allows the mind take control of the body. However, the point of hypnotherapy is not to be relaxed, but to be able to make a change. Hypnotherapy helps a person change bad behaviors, ease chronic pain, and become self loved.

Hypnosis is like cutting off the leaves of a tree, but leaving the stems, which allows the leaves to grow back. Hypnotherapy completely destroys the entire tree, leaving nothing – not even the roots.
